♦ Character:
Curious, adventurous, impulsive, cheerful, arrogant, greedy and impatient are adjectives that would very well describe Leah. She's the type who'll get easily excited with something but not long after she'll grow bored of it and turn towards something she finds more interesting. She loves treasures more than anything in the world and is willing to do just about anything to get them, from exploring ancient ruins to raiding the house of some noble. But beware! For even if she may take something belonging to somebody else, she is by no means a thief! No, no, call her that and you'll recieve a kick right between your legs. Other than that, she's quite easy going and friendly, if you invite her a pint she'll be your friend forever. Or well, something like that, 'cause she doesn't really trust people easily, that's something that's gotta be earned with more than some cheap beer after all. Once you get on her good side, however, she's a trusthworthy companion, although she won't exactly run to put her hands on fire for you, since she's her number one priority, she'll do what's within her possibilities to watch your ass... I mean, your back. There is, however, one thing that she'll hold more sacred than anything else: her freedom. It is her life and soul, so if by any chance it is taken away, for her it's the equivalent of being killed and will do anything to get it back, or die trying.

♦ History:
It remains a mystery who her parents were, wheter she they died or abandoned her that's something that doesn't seem likely to be found out. She was raised in an orphanage, where she was often protected by an older boy named Finn, for she was quite sicklish during her childhood and easily abused by older children and the caretakers. For years, she felt like a helpless bird inside a cage, watching others go around and have fun, leaving and playing and exploring, while she was forced to stay in bed most of the time. However, soon enough that would change.

She had found him by mistake, or rather, she was found. One night when she had ran away from the orphanage, she passed out on the streets burning in fever. Fortunately, she was taken in by a young man by the name of Mylenos. The man was a hunter, but not of any kind, he explained to the young girl how it were treasures what he hunted for. The most rare and wonderful treasures in the whole world. After that first encounter, day after day she'd secretly go visit him to listen to his stories, becoming terribly distressed whenever he left in one of his adventures, wishing she could've gone with him, for he'd dissappear for months and then suddenly come back.

As she grew up, two things happenned. Her health greatly improved thanks to Mylenos primarly, who would bring her medicine from foreign lands and of course, she'd fall in love with him. It didn't matter to her the fact that she was 13 and the man around 30, she workshipped him and wanted to be like him, travel with him. She wanted him to adopt her.

But of course, there was somebody who was not at all pleased with this. He had protected her after all from the abuse of others, she should adore him, not that old man, right? Finn, driven by jealousy could not take it any longer and one night forced himself on Leah, she could not refuse his love, she had got to be his, even if he had to force her. Indeed, he succeeded in raping her, but terrified like she'd never been, trying to run away from Finn, Leah broke a bottle on his head, the shards of crystal exploded all over the room and the teenager layed there in a pool of blood. The girl did not know if she had killed him or not, she did not stay long enough to notice and ran away from the orphanage to Mylenos house. It did not take the man long to figure out what had happenned and finally made the desition of taking her in.

Leah's life dramatically change then. Mylenos would no longer just tell her stories about his travels, but began teaching her what he knew. If she was to live with him, she would have to become his apprentince, learn his job so one day she'd be able to accompany him. She had to improve her physical condition, learn to fire weapons, learn to trust her gut and become quick-minded to be able to leave many situations alive. She learned to kill. After all, how would she get the prize if she was killed by beasts or bandits first? The cheerfulness, greedyness and arrogance of the man also rubbed in her and after years of that, she finally became what he considered suitable for the job and began taking her with him.

However, sometime after Leah had turned 19, they were hired to find a certain treasure in some ruins, an object which it's existance was only rumours and legend between the folk. If it existed, they'd never know, for it was all in fact a setup. Up until now, Leah still remains ignorant to the reasons, but that night Mylenos was killed and she barely survived thanks to his mentor, but lost her right eye.

She joined the Hunter's Guild not long after, for even if Mylenos had been a part of it, she had never oficially joined until then. She planned on finding out who was it, although she repeats that it is not revenge that she wants, but the ability to be able to assure her freedom. In the meantime, she needed to find ways to survive as well and she was perfectly aware of how important the guild had been to his mentor.
